Japanese website
One of my New Year's resolutions this year was to create a Japanese-language website. I waited until November, but I managed to get one up by year's end.
Here it is:
BetterTechEnglish.com
My goal for the site is to give pointers on technical-English writing to Japanese native speakers, while creating a presence that will help me attract Japanese clients.
It feels kind of odd to write about good English writing in lousy Japanese, but maybe it will serve as a warning about the difficulties of writing in a foreign language.

Hi! I was interested to look at your Japanese site. I said that I would make a home page for my Japanese friend and the only way I know to mark up Japanese text is to use the unicode stuff that MSWord churns out, like this ありがとう
Can I ask what you used to build your site? When I view your source code I can see the actual Kanji/kana. Is it very technical or do I need special software?
Many thanks
Ah… It’s turned my code into Japanese! In the source code it’s all ampersands, hashes and numbers. (sorry!!)
@Leila
The Japanese in your comment looks OK to me.
My Japanese website (BetterTechEnglish.com) was made using the Japanese version of wordpress, and it was very easy.
