What Is It?
WordSpeaker is an addin for Microsoft® Word that allows you to use the built-in text-to-speech feature of Windows in your Word documents.
WordSpeaker is open source and completely free, with no strings attached.
Installation
Download WordSpeaker.exe and run it. When you next run Word, you should see the Wordspeaker toolbar.

If you don't see the toolbar, go to View >> Toolbars and select "WordSpeaker."
You will need Microsoft's SAPI engine and some voices installed in order to use it. If you don't have them, you can get them here.
Using It
- Put the cursor somewhere.
- Click the play button.
- Click the stop button to stop.
- Click the forward and back buttons to skip forward and back.
- Click the select button (the funny head thing) to pick a voice.
